There are two types of motivation: extrinsic and intrinsic. Extrinsic motivators are external factors that drive us to do something, such as a reward or punishment. Intrinsic motivators, on the other hand, come from within ourselves. Theyufffdre things like a desire to improve our skills or simply the satisfaction of completing a task.

Both extrinsic and intrinsic motivators can be helpful in achieving our goals, but research has shown that intrinsic motivators are more effective in promoting long-term success. I’ve been on my fitness journey for a while now, and I’m happy to report that I’m making progress! Every day, I make small changes to my diet and exercise routine that add up to big results. Here’s a look at my progress so far:

Q: How did you get started in the fitness industry?

A: I started working in the fitness industry about 10 years ago. I was a personal trainer and group fitness instructor. About five years ago, I decided to become a certified nutrition coach and start my own business.

A: I love all types of workouts, but my favorites are definitely strength training and HIIT (high-intensity interval training). I also love yoga and Pilates for recovery and flexibility.

A: I eat a mostly plant-based diet with some lean protein sources like chicken, fish, eggs, and tofu. I try to eat as many whole foods as possible and limit processed foods. I believe in moderation when it comes to food – everything in moderation!

Q: What are your thoughts on cheat meals/days?

A: Cheat meals or days can be helpful if you’re trying to break through a weight loss plateau. However, they should not be used as an excuse to overeat or indulge in unhealthy foods regularly. If you do have a cheat meal or day, make sure to get back on track with healthy eating afterwards.
